History

Snowball Farm has a long history.

It was first shown on the ordnance survey map in 1843 when it was owned by George Snowball.

The Western-Kaye family bought Snowball Farm in 1949, building up a herd of Ayreshire cows, pigs and chickens. Sheila Western-Kaye took over the reins in 1969 and in 1975 started the Riding School and Livery Yard.

Snowball Farm Equestrian Centre is now a BHS and an ABRS approved Riding School, livery and training centre. Situated in 130 acres of beautiful countryside near Burnham Beeches.

The Equestrian Centre has become home to about 85 horses and ponies and provides superb facilities for horse and rider. It includes two indoor schools, two outdoor all-weather arenas, a horse walker, a loading bay, and boasts excellent turnout for horses all year round. There is easy access to local bridleways for hacking through the beautiful Buckinghamshire countryside.
