Role at Snowball Farm: Registered Chief Instructor and Training Manager

Length of time at Snowball Farm: 2 ½ years, the last 18 months in my current role and as a freelance instructor prior to that.

How long have you been riding? Since before I could walk.

Can you remember winning your first rosette? No, but it was probably at a gymkhana bending game when I was around 3 years old.

What’s the best bit about your job? Seeing the students arrive with little or no training, and see them move on to the next level and some becoming instructors.

Proudest moment? When I was given a riding apprenticeship at P.S.I. in Germany.

Funniest memory? (chuckle…) I used to own a horse who didn’t like water. Once when a friend rode this horse and I was on another one, the horse spooked atfish in the water and my friend fell off. Should have really been me.
