Welcome to our new ponies rehomed at Snowball Farm from The Blue Cross.

Blue Cross July14 Under Saddle

Snowball Farm has taken on four ponies from The Blue Cross.  The Blue Cross specialize in rehoming unwanted pets, including these lovely ponies.

Wongi, Jess, Maggie and Blue rehomed at Snowball Farm from The Blue Cross, arrived in June.  They have been given lots of time to settle in to their new surroundings.  Sarah, Maisie, Tenzin and Mari and our students are working with them each day to develop their training, under Natalie’s guidance.

Maisie says: “Maggie’s the best!  She’s really calm and chilled out about life.  When she didn’t understand the lunge, I just got on her.  She jumped her first X-pole on the 10 July.  She is really sweet and affectionate.” Photo: Maisie + Maggie, Mari + Blue, Tenzin + Jess

Tenzin says: “Out of the three girls, Jess is definitely the boss! She is sweet and inquisitive about everything, very willing and quick to learn.  I know she will be everyone’s favourite!”

Mari says: “Blue has struck up a friendship with Sunny – they are always together in the field, keeping the flies off each other.  Blue is bold and quite forward going.  He is going to make a fantastic riding pony.”

Sarah says:  “Wongi is a little more sensitive than the others, but has changed so much since she arrived.  At first she was very shy and ‘closed down’, but in just a few short weeks she has relaxed and is much more positive about life.  She is happy to have the kids around her now, and enjoys the attention more and more. She is starting to work well on the lunge and is now under saddle.” Photo (l-r) Wongi, Jess, Maggie and Blue with Aron, Issy, Glenda, Izzy, Petra, Rosie, Katie, Georgia and Mary.

Snowball Farm has chosen The Blue Cross as one of its preferred charities.
